Niclas och Claes på AliasSmith vill poängtera att en Margarita inte är någon fastställd definition. Margartian kan varieras i flera aspekter, och framförallt gällande val av tequila och likör. Skillanden jämfört med den något enklare varianten, Margarita, är att i nedan variant, som grabbarna gett benämningen Gran Margarita, är en specifik så kallad Tequila 100% Agave utvald. Dessutom är Cointreaun ersatt av Grand Marnier Rouge.

Enligt uppgift blir det hela ett betydligt fylligre, lite sötare och mer exlusivt resultat. Los Tres Toños Añejo har varunr 10519 och kan beställas hos dittt Systembolag, men kan också ersättas av den ännu mer exklusiva Arette Unique med varunr 77008.

Gran Margarita's drinkrecept

4 cl Los Tres Toños Añejo
2 cl Grand Marnier Rouge
2 cl Färsk limejuice
några stänk Äggvita
Flingsalt, krossat

Vad som skall göras

För att fästa saltet stryker du lite citrusjuice på glaskanten och doppar sedan utsidan av kanten i saltet. Slå av glaset lätt så att inget salt hamnar i Margaritan. Fyll en cocktailshaker med is och häll i alla ingredienser. Skaka kraftigt i femton sekunder och häll över i ett kylt cocktailglas. Servera.
